The Stage Awaits: A Look Ahead at the Academic Year in Drama

As we begin a new academic year, the excitement in the air is palpable. This year promises to be a thrilling journey for our Drama department, filled with opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and achievement.

Celebrating Our Achievers

We begin our year by celebrating our talented Trinity achievers, notably Khai Ze Lim whose remarkable performance last year set a high standard for excellence. He was awarded the Outstanding Achiever Award which is awarded to the candidate who achieves the second highest distinction mark for each grade.

Khai Ze’s dedication and passion for the arts are inspiring; his journey reminds us that hard work and talent can lead to incredible success. A big thank you to Mrs Garnett for her hard work and dedication to the Trinity CCA.

A Dynamic Programme

Our academic and co-curricular activities (CCA) programme is set to be more dynamic than ever. With a focus on both skill development and artistic expression, students will have the chance to engage in various learning opportunities.

Looking ahead, we have an exciting line-up of productions that will showcase our students’ talents.

The Prep Christmas Production: A beloved tradition, this year’s holiday performance promises to be enchanting, bringing the spirit of the season to life through the creativity of our young performers.

Senior College Production: Our Senior students will have an opportunity to perform a straight play.

House Drama Competition: A fierce yet friendly rivalry will unfold as houses compete for the coveted title. These competitions not only foster teamwork but also encourage students to push their creative boundaries.

Junior College Production: This is set to be a wonderful collaboration with the Prep school. Watch this space for news on auditions and progress as we work to our final performances.

With the support of our dedicated staff, the inspiration of our achievers, and the enthusiasm of our students, we are sure to create magic on stage. Let’s make this year one of creativity, collaboration, and celebration in the world of drama!
