Introducing the Propert Legends!

At Propert, we love to celebrate success. Last year, we introduced the highly sought-after ‘Propert Flag,’ which is awarded each half term to a student who stands out for their service, attitude, or contributions in and around the house. However, each half term, I found it difficult to choose just one recipient—there were simply too many deserving nominees!
I wanted to recognise the small actions that make a big difference, so I introduced the Propert Legend badges. When people think of legends, they think of those who stand the test of time—individuals who have changed the world and left a lasting impact.
While legendary status often brings to mind grand accomplishments, it’s equally important to recognise those who consistently do the right thing, perform small acts of kindness, and uphold our core values. With that in mind, at the start of the term, I ordered 500 Propert badges, hoping to award them to as many students as possible.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of awarding badges to many deserving students. To name just a few: helping younger students with their homework (Damon), for consistently starting prep time ahead of schedule (Jun Jie), volunteering to clean the music room (Kohaku, Moto, Fuga), for showing strong leadership qualities (Masanao), for competing at the state level (Qaidd) and Isaac, for his healthy habits, always having a plate full of vegetables and fruit whenever I see him in the canteen!
May their legend and values continue to inspire others!
