Forest House is one of the College’s boys’ Houses
Forest – named after Robert Forest, an early major benefactor – was one of the College’s original houses, formed in 1883. It started life in the main College building, but moved 50 years ago into purpose-built accommodation close to the main rugby pitches and is now home to 60 boys.
Mr Harry Hughes proudly hails from East London, UK, and joins Epsom College Malaysia this year as a teacher of History and Politics. He studied History at the University of St Andrews, specialising in Islamic and Middle Eastern History, and completed his PGCE at the University of Buckingham. Harry has spent the past six years teaching in the independent sector in London, including two years as a Boys’ Head of House, during which he earned a Pastoral Leadership Qualification with the HMC. He also brings a wealth of experience from his work with the British Army. Passionate about the outdoors, environmentalism, food, travel, and football, Mr Harry’s greatest joy is inspiring young people to engage with the complexities of History and Politics and helping them develop into future leaders.
