A Triumphant First Trimester and Exciting Plans Ahead

The first trimester at LALIGA Academy Malaysia has been marked by remarkable achievements and significant progress in building a competitive football culture. Our players and teams have set a high standard, reflecting their commitment, hard work, and growing excellence on the pitch.

Among the highlights, our U19 boys’ team claimed two prestigious titles: champions of both the Marlborough Strait 7’s and the KLSL tournaments. The U15 boys secured an impressive second-place finish at the Marlborough Strait 7’s, while the U15 girls became KLSL champions, and the U13 boys achieved third place in their category. Across all age groups, our teams played over 40 matches against international schools and local academies, gaining valuable experience and showcasing their development.

For the second trimester, we aim to build on this momentum by increasing the number of 11v11 matches, prioritizing this format over 7v7 to elevate the competitive standard. Additionally, our players’ strong performances have earned invitations to several national tournaments, though participation was limited due to holiday schedules. Furthermore, our growing reputation has enabled us to establish relationships with key organizations to organize leagues and competitions in and around Epsom.

We are also excited to offer all academy players a 50% discount on the upcoming LALIGA Winter Camp, taking place from December 16 to 21, providing an excellent opportunity for further development.

With these accomplishments and plans, including a recent visit from a senior LALIGA representative, we eagerly anticipate an even more dynamic and successful second trimester.
