Sixth Form Curriculum
Our Sixth Form curriculum is both broad and challenging, designed to foster academic curiosity and critical thinking. Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)
In addition to their chosen A Level subjects, students have the opportunity to undertake the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). The EPQ encourages students to explore a topic of personal interest, guiding them through independent research to produce either a dissertation or an artefact. This project culminates in a research report, a presentation and a project log.
The EPQ aims to develop key life skills such as time management, project management, problem-solving and critical thinking, skills that are essential for success in both higher education and the wider world. The emphasis of the EPQ is on autonomy and the ability to manage a research project independently.
Epsom Live Talks
One of the unique aspects of Sixth Form at Epsom College Malaysia is our Epsom Live Talk series. This exciting initiative brings top C-suite executives, business leaders, and industry experts to campus to share their knowledge and insights with our students. These talks bridge the gap between academia and the corporate world, offering students the chance to engage directly with leaders, ask questions, and gain invaluable career insights.
The series is entirely student-managed, empowering our Sixth Formers to organise and host these events, further enhancing their leadership, networking, and communication skills. Notable speakers have included figures such as:

Internship Opportunities
Epsom provides access to internships thanks to established connections and collaboration with Malaysia’s biggest corporates and industry leaders including AirAsia and ECM Libra Foundation, providing students with opportunities to intern in a variety of potential careers including medicine, law, finance, engineering, government relations, digital marketing and communications, and many others.
Grayling Centre
The Grayling Centre, named after Professor A.C. Grayling who officially opened it in 2016, has been designed to closely replicate the experience of studying at university. This is where students spend most of their school day and includes tutorial rooms for A-level teachers and students to hold small group seminars and one-to-one tutorials, a lecture theatre for academic talks, visiting speakers, and discussion groups, as well as a study area furnished with a variety of working environments suited to different learning styles. The social area is equipped with beanbags and a new sound system, providing students with a space to relax after a busy day.

Beyond the Classroom
Beyond academics, Epsom offers outstanding sporting opportunities through partnerships with world-class academies. Aspiring athletes can train with Mouratoglou Academy Malaysia with certified coaches on 11 ITF-grade courts, including the only two indoor clay courts in Southeast Asia, develop their game at the GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy with PGA-certified instruction, TrackMan technology, and a 5-acre on-campus facility; or refine their skills at the LALIGA Academy Malaysia with UEFA-level coaching on a FIFA-certified 4G pitch using VO3 performance analytics.
