Despite a term filled with multiple school events and schedule clashes, the LALIGA football programme has continued to move forward with consistency and purpose. This term has focused on maintaining competitive opportunities, expanding our development pathways, and introducing initiatives that support long-term player growth, both on and off the pitch.
Throughout the term, we successfully hosted several LALIGA matches across different age groups, ensuring players continued to gain valuable match exposure despite logistical challenges. These fixtures provided important learning moments, reinforcing tactical understanding, teamwork, and competitive mindset. In parallel, we introduced structured goalkeeping training sessions for all age groups, reflecting our commitment to developing every player, regardless of position, through a clear and inclusive learning pathway.
For our older and more advanced players, we also took advantage of the adjusted schedules to introduce an optional Strength and Conditioning programme. This programme runs three days per week and is designed to complement football training by improving physical robustness, injury prevention, and overall athletic development. Players can complete the sessions flexibly, either in the mornings or evenings, allowing them to fit training around academic and personal commitments.
With Ramadan approaching, we remain open to receiving requests from students who may wish to adapt their training times during this period. Any adjustments will be considered within our operational possibilities, with player wellbeing remaining a key priority.
One of the most significant highlights of this term is the continued development and upcoming launch of the ECM Youth Leagues in Term 3. This competition aims to provide regular, structured match play and will become a foundation of next year’s football programme. Families are encouraged to stay tuned for upcoming announcements, as this initiative will open new competitive opportunities and support the long-term development of every player.
