What Are the Latest Actions and Achievements in Football?

Football at Epsom has enjoyed an exceptional term, with our teams displaying strong performances, resilience, and continuous growth across multiple competitions. From regional leagues to international tournaments, our players have demonstrated outstanding teamwork, discipline, and leadership. This write-up highlights the key achievements of our boys’ and girls’ teams, recognising their efforts and the values that drive their success on and off the pitch.

This term has been filled with remarkable accomplishments.

KLSL Division 1 Competitions:
Our U13 Boys secured 2nd place after an impressive tournament, while the U18 Boys were crowned champions at Taylor’s International School. Our U18 Girls also lifted the trophy at King Henry VIII International School following a series of dominant performances.

Marlborough Straits 7s:
The U13 Boys emerged as champions, leading from start to finish, with special recognition to Adam T. for his Golden Glove award. The U15 Boys became co-champions after the other semi-final was cancelled due to lightning, with Epsom being the only team qualified for the final. The U18 Boys were also co-champions under similar circumstances, having topped every group with exemplary sportsmanship and leadership. Special recognition goes to Devan R., who supported the team despite his injury.

FOBISIA Football:
Our U18 Boys earned a well-deserved silver medal, with Luke F. and Adlan A. selected as A and B Representatives – an Epsom first. We would also like to highlight the unwavering spirit and resilience of our players, who battled until the final whistle despite fatigue and illness affecting some of them during the tournament.

AIMS Yellow Division:
Both the U13 and U15 Boys dominated their tournaments. We also extend our warmest wishes to Yossy T. in his recovery.

These achievements reflect the dedication, spirit, and unity of our players and coaches. With more tournaments ahead in Term 2 and the ECM League in Term 3, we look forward to continuing our players’ development and building on this success.
