ECM Golf Academy Team Heads to Scotland

The new academic year has begun with plenty of momentum for ECM Golf Academy. From standout performances at the Malaysian International Junior Open (MIJO) to new opportunities on both local and international stages, our students continue to make us proud. With academy numbers growing and strong interest in golf as a CCA, we are excited about the year ahead.

At the recent Malaysian International Junior Open in Johor, Afham O. delivered an impressive performance, finishing second after narrowly missing out in a playoff. This is a fantastic achievement and a highlight in his golf career thus far. Meanwhile, Adrianna S. and Danish D. both put in solid performances, finishing inside the top 35- a commendable result against a strong field of junior golfers.

This week also saw our students receive their brand-new academy shirts, kindly sponsored by Mizuno. The sense of pride and identity within the academy is stronger than ever, particularly as our numbers continue to grow. It is also encouraging to see golf gaining popularity as a CCA choice in both Prep and Senior Schools, with many new students taking up the sport.

Looking ahead, six of our talented golfers- Elizabeth L., Ken M., Adrianna S., Afham O., and Danish D. will be travelling to Scotland on Friday, 12th September, to compete in the World School Golf Championship. They will proudly represent Epsom College Malaysia on the global stage. Closer to home, James Y. and James K. will test their skills at the upcoming US Kids Tournament in Kuala Lumpur.

It has been an inspiring start to the academic year, filled with achievements, new opportunities, and growing enthusiasm across the academy. We are proud of our students for their hard work and dedication, and we look forward to following their journeys- both locally and internationally. Here’s to an exciting year of progress, performance, and passion for the game.
