Reflecting on a Successful 2nd Term and Looking Ahead

At LALIGA ACADEMY Malaysia, we remain committed to providing the best possible experience for our players, both on and off the field. The start of the year has been filled with exciting events and strong performances across our teams, further strengthening our mission to develop young footballers in a professional and supportive environment.

In January, we hosted the LALIGA vs Bullying event, emphasising our dedication to creating a safe and inclusive space for our players. This initiative helped raise awareness about the importance of respect and teamwork, values that extend beyond football.

On the competitive front, our teams have been performing exceptionally well in the ECiM Youth League, where we have seen remarkable progress:

• The U10 & U14 teams are currently leading their respective categories.
• The U12 & U17 teams are in strong second-place positions.
• The U8 players, who are experiencing their first taste of competitive football, are focusing on enjoyment and skill development rather than results.

Beyond league matches, we have actively engaged in friendly games against international schools, providing both our boys’ and girls’ teams, particularly at the U13 and U11 levels, with valuable match play. These encounters offer our players essential learning opportunities while strengthening relationships with the wider football community.

As we move forward, we remain dedicated to refining our training methodologies, expanding opportunities for our players, and ensuring that every athlete in our academy continues to grow and thrive. We look forward to another exciting term ahead!
