EAL Graduation Letter

At Epsom College in Malaysia, we are incredibly proud of our English as an Additional Language (EAL) students who have made consistent progress in their English language skills. Their dedication, perseverance, and curiosity have set them apart, and their commitment to personal growth is inspiring.

It is particularly heartwarming to see these students not only improving their language proficiency but also developing a genuine love for reading.

Please join me in giving thanks to Miss Atiqah and Miss Nurin for providing all of us at Epsom warm and highly productive library experiences day in, day out.

These students have ventured beyond the boundaries of classroom learning, exploring literature for pure enjoyment. This journey into the world of books has opened up new horizons, fostering creativity, empathy, and critical thinking skills. From classic novels to contemporary works, our students are delving into stories that enrich their understanding of different cultures, perspectives, and human experiences. Simply said, our EAL students are loving literature!

Our EAL teachers play a pivotal role in nurturing this enthusiasm. At Epsom College, we are fortunate to have an EAL team of loving, nurturing, and careful practitioners who combine Language and Literature lessons to create a holistic and engaging learning experience. These dedicated educators understand that learning a language is not merely about mastering grammar and vocabulary but also about connecting with stories, characters, and ideas. By blending language instruction with literary exploration, they provide students with the tools to both communicate effectively and appreciate the richness of English literature.

The supportive environment cultivated by our EAL teachers encourages students to take risks, express themselves, and discover their unique voices.
