Key Stage 4 is a crucial time for students at Epsom, whether they are joining us from schools across Asia or progressing from Key Stage 3. We provide a warm welcome to all new students, ensuring they settle quickly into the Epsom Family and start their educational journey smoothly.
Focus on IGCSEs
Key Stage 4 focuses on IGCSE preparation. Lessons are taught by dedicated subject specialists who work closely with students to achieve the best possible outcomes This will allow them to transition into Key Stage 5 to pursue their aspirational pathway.
Personalised Support
Every student will be assigned to a form group and a form tutor who meets regularly to monitor academic progress and address any concerns or issues.
Support for English Language Learners
Individuals who require additional support with English, we offer tailored English as an Additional Language (EAL) lessons for an additional cost. These benefits allow delivery of content in small groups, also lessons are to aid students to progress efficiently and seamlessly into mainstream lessons.
Pastoral Care and Co-Curricular Opportunities
Excellent pastoral care continues through Key Stage 4, with students benefiting from a wide range of co-curricular activities that offer challenges beyond the classroom. By the end of Key Stage 4, students will have developed the Epsom Learning Characteristics academically and socially preparing them to continue to demonstrate our Kindness, Ambition and Integrity values in the future.
